The Mississippi Silverbacks are a dynamic force in the American Basketball Association, proudly representing Jackson, Mississippi. As the newest and most exciting professional basketball team in the region, we are dedicated to delivering excellence on and off the court. Our team reflects the strength, unity, and resilience of the Silverback gorilla, with a focus on teamwork, hard work, and community engagement.

 

In our debut season, we achieved an impressive 16-6 record, securing ABA South Region Black Division and ABA South Region titles, as well as, earning an ABA National Championship appearance. Beyond basketball, we are committed to uplifting our community through youth outreach, charity events, and empowering local businesses. The Mississippi Silverbacks are more than just a team-we’re a movement that inspires positive change and brings people together.
